Hello, Enroute to Naples from Slovenia by train I'm doing an overnight in Venice next month. Will get one of the fast trains to Naples the next morning. Look for recommendations for a hotel in Venice with easy access to Santa Lucia train station. Its been a long time since I was in Venice so I thought I'd see if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks in advance!

If you are just using this a quick overnight and aren't planning to tour Venice itself, consider staying in Mestre near the Venezia Mestre station. I had a good experience doing this once a number of years ago at Hotel Regit.

We love Hotel Ai Mori D'Oriente, in the Cannaregio neighborhood. It's charming, peaceful, no crowds, but a nice buzz. The hotel is on a small back canal. Enjoy!

For such a short stay, you might want to be near the Santa Lucia train station for convenience. “U-Visionary Venezia Hotel” is excellent and convenient for arriving and departing from Venice.
