We will be arriving at Naples Airport about 10 pm on a Saturday night in June, and beginning a tour of the Amalfi Coast the next day. We had considered booking a car to transfer to the hotel in Sorrento when we arrive, but we’re not (yet) guaranteed to be able to book an extra night in the same hotel. So we are thinking of staying in Naples for one night upon arrival. (We would then would transfer Sunday afternoon to Sorrento.)
Can anyone recommend a hotel for the one night in Naples? We don’t need a lot of amenities, as the main purpose is to get a good night’s sleep (and then maybe walk around Naples a bit in the morning) but would like a clean, comfortable (and quiet) room.

You could consider taking a taxi from the airport to one of the hotels in Naples on Via Partenope which has a promenade area on the Bay of Naples. It is across from Castel d'Ovo. Then the next day you can enjoy your trip to Sorrento after being rested.

We stayed in that area for a week in Naples and liked it very much. It is quiet since a pedestrian area and right on the water. Lots of restaurants too.

Thank you both - I will look in to that area.
Any suggestion for an neighborhood/hotel closer to the city center should we decide to spend some time on Sunday morning walking around Naples?
