hotel for family of four in Rome

My family of four (2 daughters ages 15 and 11) will be staying at the Hotel Italia on Via Venezia in July. Their website is www. hotelitaliaroma.it. I believe that it's listed the the RS book and you can also check out the reviews on venere.com and tripadvisor.com. It's pretty centrally located between termini station and the Colluseum. We have a quad with pirvate bath for 130 Euro per night. Optional a/c is 10 Euro extra. I think it fits all your criteria. Good luck.

We had a very difficult time finding a hotel for 4 for under 200 Euro in a central location in high season. So we decided to rent an appartment instead through www.vrbo.com

If you do prefer a hotel you're most likely to find something reasonable in the Termini area. Quad rooms are seldom mentioned on websites but sometimes available if you ask directly through an email.

it's interesting how July is already considered low season in Rome! That same quad room would be 200 Euro in June ...

We stayed in a quad room at Hotel Grifo. The room and hotel were nice-and we really liked the location.
