I sent a booking inquiry 4 days ago and have not had a reply. Does anyone know if they close in November? I also sent an email.

May be closed or perhaps not taking reservations yet. I would check their listing on a booking site to see if there are rooms available or "sold out" (sometimes a euphemism for "not taking reservations yet").

TA says none of their partner booking sites have prices for this hotel.

We were just in Varenna a month ago & stayed at Albergo Milano and the owner said that they & many other hotels close down for the winter, usually November- Mid- March.
So if the hotel is family owned, it might just take them longer to answer because their staff is off.
When are you planning to travel there? You may try calling the hotel.
