I am planning a trip to Florence and have two on my list. I was wondering if any of you have stayed at either of these hotels and what your experience was? Also, any other suggestions on hotels in Florence would be great. I am travelling with my sister so we are looking for a suite that can have two twin beds. Here are the two we are currently looking at: Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni and Hotel Degli Orafi. Thanks for any help! Best, Laurel
These are both very upscale hotels where posters on this site may not have stayed, so you might want to look at reviews on other sites such as Trip Advisor. Rick's guidebooks do list a few fairly upscale lodgings in Florence, none of which I've stayed at. Note that the bed in a double room can often be split into 2 twin beds. Inquire with the hotel to confirm whether that can be done, and make sure to mention that desired configuration when you reserve.

If you click to book the room you will see that you can have twin beds as an option in either Hotel. If you google the hotel name on the right side click on the map. It brings up reviews, guest pictures and of course LOCATION. Honestly, there are many wonderful hotels in Florence. But with all Florence has to offer will you really be spending that much time in your room?
You will surely have a wonderful trip! The food, the people, the attractions, the wine...did I mention the FOOD! Enjoy your time with your sister!
