Hotel Dali, east of Duomo...Experiences?

I'm visiting my art student-granddaughter for a few days in Florence in March (so proud of her) and was looking for an inexpensive place to sleep while there. Has anyone stayed at this place? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
