Hotel Contilia and staying in Rome Termini station

We are thinking about staying at Hotel Contilia in Rome, Via Principe Amedeo 81. Beside being close to the Termini station, what else is in walking distance?

Two branches of the National Museum of Rome are within just a block or two, at the Palazzo Massimo and the Baths of Diocletian - good and uncrowded Roman artifacts! But you can also walk fairly easily to the Colosseum (1.5 km, mostly flat or downhill) or the Borghese Gallery (mostly flat if you follow route suggestion from Google Maps, 2.5 km), for instance (reserve ahead to enter either of those sites). The train station area is also a very convenient hub to board buses (many start here), taxi, or metro to cover longer distances.
