We have an early morning flight from Florence, anyone know of an inexpensive hotel to stay at. Also, is this a 24 hour airport?

We had an early morning (6:50) flight a few weeks ago and our hotel near the Duomo arranged a taxi pick-up at 5 am. The airport opens at 5am. That gave us plenty of time.

Thank you for the info on the airport time. I thought we would have to be at the airport at 4:00.
