I have booked this hotel for 3 nights in May and have been advised by the management that it is undergoing renovation to the roof terrace and facade - nothing specific though. Has anyone stayed recently? Did the renovations affect your stay in any way? Appreciate any feedback. Did check the latest review on trip advisor and no mention of renovations.

I would consider looking for other accommodations.
If the noise is bad, won't do any good to complain, because they warned you.
We just got back from New Orleans and the hotel didn't tell us it was renovating. The noise was awful and the other hotels in the French Quarter were booked with convention people, so we couldn't change. You can always keep that reservation if you can't find anything else. Good luck.
