Hi Mary Ellen..We loved the Campiello. Very well located, easy to get on and off the boats, air-conditioned, a computer for your use in the lobby, a wonderful buffet breakfast that will last you all day, and one of the best showers I have ever been in.The rooms are not large, but we were very pleased. The location cannot be beat- when the boat comes in from the airport to the San Zaccaria stop the Calle de Vin is straight ahead.no bridges to navigate with your luggage and a very quiet area, but very close toSan Marco.

Our family of 4 stayed in one of Hotel Campiello's apartments in the summer of 2007 and it was wonderful!. I have heard very good things about the hotel too.
The apartments are just a few steps from the hotel and were new in 2007. Our price included the breakfast buffet also.
I am sure you will enjoy your stay at Hotel Campiello and you can't beat the location right off the Riva and a few minutes from St. Mark's. It was very convenient for taking a water taxi to the airport also. Have a good trip!
