Does anyone know of a good hotel close to the FCO, rome airport? We have a flight at 6AM and I would like a hotel that has a free shuttle to the airport. I've looked at the Hilton airport hotel that's connected to the terminal, but it's over $250 a night,and I'm looking for something under $200 if possible. Thanks!

I'm looking also! Last time I had an early flight from Rome (FCO)I had a cab pick me up at my hotel. I stayed at the Aberdeen and the front desk ordered my cab for 5:00am. The cab was on time, and I believe it was about 50euro to the airport. It didn't take very long, was like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, but I was glad I stayed the night in Rome. This trip I'm looking for a hotel for my friend, as the Aberdeen is booked. I've tentatively booked the Euro House Hotel in Fiumicano, which is supposedly 5 minutes from the airport. They charge 12 euro during normal hours for their shuttle, but before 7am it's 25 euro. The Hilton sounds really convenient, but the price is too hefty for such a brief stay. Like I said though, if it was me, I'd opt to stay the night in Rome and have a cab arranged by your hotel. I would be surprised if you find any hotels with a free shuttle, but if you do, please let ME know! Buona Fortuna!
