Hotel Astoria in Rapallo

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Astoria in Rapalla? We plan a free "5 day" vacation before heading to Cretiole. Thought this might be convenient to reach Santa Margherita and possibly Nice. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hotel Metropole in S. Margherita is also nice. Sorry I haven't stayed in Hotel Astoria

We stayed in the Stella Hotel this past October. It, and the staff were very nice, very friendly, and very helpful.
