Have you been reading my posting today in Foder's? YES, I've stayed at the Ambasciatori in Palermo, and YES, I do recommend it, for convenience, good service, moderate cost, and terrific panoramic rooftop terrace (the photo on the website gives a pretty good idea, but the real thing is even better).
