Hotel Alessandra gets better review on Trip Advisor, but what do you guys think? Hotel Hermitage looks nicer.

I've been to Florence a few times but haven't stayed at either of these hotels. I always check reviews to help pick a hotel but in this case I agree the Hermitage looks like it is closer to the river and looks like it has better views. Have a fabulous time! Happy Travels

My friend & her husband stayed at the Hotel Hermitage for their honeymoon and loved it. I've never stayed but they loved it and are going to stay there again this fall.

We stayed at the Hotel Hermitage for one night last September, and it was quite nice. The room was a little bigger than most we had in Italy, and it was spotless. The time for our visit was limited, so having it be so close to the Uffizi was handy. There is nothing special about the place, but it was a nice hotel in a good location. It was fairly hot when we were there and the air conditioning was great.
