Does anyone have experience traveling to Southern Italy in October? I’m curious about the typical hotel air conditioning/heating situation.
Last October in Paris, all the hotels had the heat on with no way to turn it off—even though it was unseasonably warm—so I was roasting, even with the windows open. I’ve learned this can be common in Europe, where A/C is often turned off after a certain point in the fall. Just trying to be prepared in my travels to adapt to the European standard and still find some personal comfort.
Since Southern Italy has a warmer climate, I’m wondering if it’s the same there, or if hotels are more flexible with temperature control. Any insights would be appreciated!
