I'm interested in taking a day trip to a hot springs in and/or near Sienna. Are there any recommendations for this activity? I'm not so keen on ritzy spa resorts but won't rule it out.

Another option a little further away is in St. Albino near Montepulciano.

Both of these springs/spas sound wonderful. I will not be driving a car so will be dependent on public transport and/or taxis. Are these spas pretty easy to get to using public transport?
