hot springs in Tuscany

Hi I will be in Montepulciano for 7 nights in the beginning of May. We are looking for suggestions for a hot spring in nature vs. a spa pool. Also, are any less likely to smell heavily of sulpher. From reading previous posts, I understand that some are also hotter than others and we would like something atleast 100 degrees. thank you, linda

Check above (Italian language only but a map is a map).
You can select by province if you want.
The one on the top photo of the above website is Saturnia, one of the most famous in Tuscany, but there are many others including Montepulciano itself.

A good spa will make you smell like a rotten egg all day.

The public park with the waterfall in Saturnia is one of my most memorable Italian hours -- it is pretty fabulous and free. I did smell like sulphur through many showers over many days -- it was worth it.

royal,

Another hot springs you might consider is.....

It's located in the Val D'Orcia region, which is one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany that I've seen. The hot springs has a wonderful restaurant and there's a great hotel just down the hill if you want to stay in the area (I'd have to check my notes for the name of the hotel).
