Does anyone know of the hot springs /thermal springs in Tuscany. We will be staying in south Tuscany.

Hi Pat,
We were at the Saturnia hot springs last Sept. We were there on a Sunday morning and you could hardly see the water for all of the people. This was the place where the locals go. I believe there is a spa nearby that may not be as crowded. Also, it may not be as crowded during the week. When we were there the dirt road leading in had cars parked illegally on both sides of the road, which made it hard to even get into the big dirt parking lot, where people were parked every which way. The Police were giving out tickets, but it looked like a losing battle. The falls and spring were interesting to see, but definitely NOT one of the highlights of our two week trip to Italy.
