Is it good to go? Any other suggestion you aware of better place to go? We are staying in Florence for few days. We may go there by train.

Fsg89, I mean this very kindly but you mentioned in a previous post that you have 3 nights in Florence? As you are coming from Rome and will expend at least 1/2 day in the transfer process from one city to another, that leaves you with 2.5 days to see Florence. I don't know as I'd take one of those few days to do something like this.
And your earlier post this morning was considering the Cinque Terre again? You decided against that?
I don't personally know anything about the towns in the link (hopefully someone else does) but I'm not even sure you can get to them by train (bus, maybe) or get to the springs themselves without a car if they're located some distance outside of those towns.
We just got back from Saturnia. I was so disappointed. I thought the waters would be much warmer, but they were body temp at most....if not lower. Not like a hot tub experience if you are seeking that. When you say "swimming" It's not a swim pool, the pools are not deep, it's more like you just sit in the waters...the smaller kids had floaties, but could touch bottom.
I wanted a nice soak. Mostly what we got was just the strong sulphur smell - but that is to be expected.
The pools were packed with people as well.....lots of kids and families enjoying the waters. Nice thing is, it's FREE to get into the waters. Didn't see train service here, but then, we arrived by bike! Parking was at a premium, so should you decide to go to Saturnia, expect to park and walk. Saturnia is basically in the middle of nowhere....
The surrounding area around the waters are not soft..not beach like...just FYI.
I think I'll just go to Glenwood Springs, CO if I want hot natural waters!!
You can easily get to Montecatini by train. However, this is more a commercial experience than a comune with nature. Have a look here: http://www.wanderingitaly.com/places/montecatini-terme-map.htm
