I am looking for a hostel that is convenient to the malpensa express. Need to get to the malpensa airport early in the morning. amy

amy, The only Hostel I know of in Milan is This One. Although it's not located right in the centre of Milan, it should be convenient for travel to MXP (depending on what time your flight is?) as it's on a Metro line. To reach the Hostel, use the red Metro (direction Rho Fiera) to stop QT8 - from their website "Climb the stairs from the rails to the station, turn right then take the stairs to your left. Walk for 200 meters on via Salmoiraghi. You will find the hostel on your right-hand side. Follow the orange arrows to the entrance, located on via Martino Bassi 2". When you're departing to the airport, take the red Metro six stops (direction Sesto 1 - Maggio FS) to Cadorna station, where you'll transfer to the Malpensa Express. If you'll be in Milan the day prior to your flight, I'd suggest buying your ticket to the Malpensa Express then, as it will save a bit of time on departure day. I did that on my last early morning trip from MXP, and it was nice to be able to stop for a Pastry and Coffee rather than queuing to buy a ticket. Happy travels!
