Hello,
Does anyone having a recommendation on where our family can go horseback riding for an hour on flat ground in the Piemont region of Italy?
Thank you,
Sandy
There are many places to horseback ride in Italy, often in conjunction with an agriturismo or riding school. Google search terms are 'passeggiate a cavallo', 'parchi a cavallo', 'equiturismo', or 'maneggio' along with the name of a region or province. Here's a site that lists many: https://www.turismoacavallo.com/regione/piemonte/
In the Dolomites you can ride the beautiful golden Haflinger horses:

Alps di Siusi would be a lovely place to ride. I think it would be more than an hour, though.
One European friend laughed at me when I brought up "horseback riding"
He asked "where else would you ride a horse?"
He only does "horse riding" (he wasn't Italian, so Italians may not chuckle)
