Horseback Riding in Italy

We are planning to go to Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Florence, Siena, and Rome.
Are there any horseback riding tours that you recommend?

Thanks,

Hello mooseem45, and welcome to the boards!

Of these locations Siena jumps out as the obvious best possibility for this kind of adventure. Rome is big city and the land area around CT and lakes tends towards very steep in places but Siena is surrounded by Tuscan countryside.

I don't have any personal recommendations but some quick Googling shows several options to ride horses that include a pick-up and drop off in Siena. There are many villas in the surrounding area that offer different ride options but unless you have a car or they offer to arrange transportation you'll probably want to look for a package that includes transportation.

This is not a recommendation - just a web listing:

Hopefully someone will have a specific recommendation but I would concentrate on Siena as the place to make this happen since there are several options.

Have a great trip,
