Honeymoon Room?

I was in Vernazza last year and am lucky enough to go back this year with my soon to be wife. I have been looking online at rooms and have not really found what I want. When I went before I just showed up and got an amazing room. My wife doesn't want to risk just showing up. Understandably i suppose. We are looking for a nice room with a view of the sea. After that we are open for suggestions.

Thanks
Andy

When will you be there? That will influence the availability of rooms.

Andrew - memorize this phrase:

letto matrimoniale

a double bed sized for two people. I'm thinking you won't want two twins. :-)

But be aware that "letto matrimoniale" sometimes just means two twins pushed together.

Andrew, try francamaria rooms. You will want #1 or #2. Both look out on the piazza, and are only a few steps from the everything. They were very reasonable, and were fine for our 25th anniversary stay in Oct of last year. Enjoy! Jeff

Hi Andrew,

My husband and I stayed at Edi’s Rooms in Riomaggiore (www.wel.it/Vesignaedi). This was our favorite place we stayed in Italy. We were in the Case Mimi room which had a huge balcony overlooking the sea. It was very clean and just the perfect location. It also had a refrigerator, coffee maker, and table and chairs inside the room to eat. This room was 80EUR.
.
We liked staying in Riomaggiore because it was connected to the Via Dell Amore which is an easy path to the next town Manarola (approx 20min walk). It's also great to watch the sunset from the rocks in Riomaggiore.

Have a great honeymoon!

Last summer we spent part of our honeymoon in Vernazza and stayed at La Mala http://www.lamala.it/en/index.html

I don't know your price range but it was perfect. We stayed in Room 31 for 3 nights and then room 29 for one night. If you can splurge Room 31 was worth the extra cash for the view of the sea. Their rooms range between 130 and 210 euros.

This is the most expensive lodging we've ever stayed in but for our honeymoon we figured why not and thought it was worth every euro.
