Honeymoon on Italian Coast

Hi,

My fiance and I are in the midst of planning our honeymoon and have decided we would like to spend it returning to Italy for 12 days next August (we were engaged there this past June, but never made it to the coast). This is what we're thinking so far:

Fly into Venice (our favorite Italian city) and stay 2 nights
Train to Cinque Terre and stay three nights at an Airbnb or hotel-- any recommendations? We're thinking we would like to stay in Vernazza, but are open to other suggestions.
Train to Amalfi Coast and stay four nights-- right now, we're thinking about staying on Capri, but open to other suggestions as well!
Train to Rome, stay 1 night & fly home

Does this sound doable? We want to have a mix of exploring & relaxing, so my thought is to adjust from jet lag in Venice since we've already been there, then hike, wine taste & explore in CT, and then relax and spend more time on beaches in Capri/Amalfi Coast.

Any advice would be wonderful!

I'd say it sounds doable and lovely. A friend & wife stayed on Capri this year and raved about it. They also stayed a couple of nights in Sorrento, which is more centrally located so they were able to do day trips around the area.

If you're really keen to go in the boat to the Blue Grotto, you might want to plan at least 2 full days on Capri (3 nights) to allow for unfavorable tides/weather.

In August the coastal areas will be thronged with Europeans on holiday as well as tourists from the Americas, so you'll probably want to book early.

Sounds vg. Realize that Capri can be an all night party during summer so quite noisy with the party crowd. If u stay consider a quieter hotel perhaps the views and honeymoon can be ideal at the right hotel. Sorrento is wonderful for itself and a springboard for amalfi coAst and Ravello. Consider a day to Paestum if u have time , incredible Greek temples. Also ferry to Positano and amalfi if the seas are calm , it is gorgeous!! U have selected a beautiful part of the world for your honeymoon. IMO!

Thanks everyone! Any recommendations on good Airbnb's, hotels, or B&B's to stay in? We'd like to keep prices under $200 a night if possible (at least in Venice & the Cinque Terre). We may be able to splurge a little bit more in Capri if needed.
