We will be in Siena for 3 days as part of our honeymoon. We are using Siena as a home base but want to see other towns as well. Do we need to rent a car? We love, love red wine so winery tour would be a must. I imagine we can set that up once we are there? How many towns should we plan on seeing in the 3 days? I hear there are some truffle farms in the area as well. So far I have Pienza, Volterra, Montalcino, Montepulciano and San Gimingano. Which of these should we go to and how much time should we plan on spending? Is renting a car important for that? Thanks a lot!
