My son and his new bride are honeymooning in Italy in March 2022. I would like to surprise them with a nice dinner when they are in Montepulciano. Doesn't have to be the most expensive - good food and wine are most important (and at least a little romantic). Also I have to be able to communicate with the restaurant on-line in order to pay or get a gift certificate. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Montepulciano, a fabulous town in Tuscany. We stayed at Meuble il Riccio in a room with balcony overlooking the valley and dined at Ai 4 Venti on Piazza Grande. Would highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant. I don’t have contact information for restaurant, but you can find it on Google maps or Google search.

What a wonderful gift! Montepulciano is one of my favorite towns and I travel there frequently. I can suggest 2 restaurants to you. The first is Le Logge del Vignola (https://leloggedelvignola.com/). This is a small, intimate, and romantic restaurant. The food is delicious and is one of my favorites. The second is L'Altro Cantuccio (https://www.laltrocantuccio.it/). The restaurant is romantic, and a bit more on the modern side. It is also one of my favorites because of its creativeness and excellent food.
In my opinion, you can't go wrong with either of these restaurants. Good luck and I am sure your son and his new bride will be very surprised! -Norman

We ate twice at Osteria del Borgo (https://en.osteriadelborgo.it/osteria) which had great food, wine and a beautiful view of the sunset/valley in the evening which made it very romantic

Osteria Del Conte located on the top of the historical center near Piazza Grande. Outside seating. Great food.

We spent a couple weeks in Montepulciano when I retired -- lots of nice restaurants. The most consistently excellent in our limited experience was La Grotta across from SAn Biagio. Lovely traditional interior -- good food.

I don't know about the food, but this restaurant may be the most beautiful and romantic I've even seen. There is a terrace that looks to the east, with a magnificent view.

We stayed at Meuble Il Riccio Montepulciano July 2017.
And still talk about our Dinner at Osteria del Borgo to this day.
Congratulations on the future wedding and what a nice gift this will be.
