Florence, Naples, Rome - help

Hey guys,

My fiance and I will be returning to Italy for our Honeymoon. We previously did a northern Italy trip in 2015. We will be spending 3 weeks split evenly between Florence, Naples and Rome (Firenze being the only repeat destination).

I was hoping for suggestions on local tour companies in these cities. I had a very negative experience attempting to participate in a wine tour in Florence last time through Viator, Knowing that they are a third party company, I'm hoping you guys have direct company info that I could check out.

Things we are hoping to do while on our honeymoon:
- Wine tour from Florence
- Private boat tour around Capri (min 4 hours)
- Pasta making class in Rome

Also open to other tour suggestions/ideas. We will be in Italy from October 3-24, 2017. Thanks in advance.

Michelle, a couple of years ago I recommended a boat service in Capri to another couple (on a different travel forum) spending honeymoon time there, and was fortunate to get a report back:

"And Gianni's was also terrific. Definitely a great price for a day of boating. The best part was that our captain took us to the blue grotto just after the commercials boats left but before the opening was covered. This meant that my bride and I had the grotto to ourselves - that in itself was worth the price."

Now, I wouldn't count 100% on getting into the grotto but the company is still seeing excellent reviews. They have a variety of tours from 3 hours to 1/2 day to full day.

There is a 4-hour tour mentioned on this page:

One caution, though: most tours are out of Capri - none from Naples - so you'd need to take a jetboat to the island, and arrange your tour time so you don't miss the last boat back to the mainland OR stay a night on the island...which is what I'd recommend.
