Edit: I want to be sure everyone understands that I am sincerely grateful to all of you who took the time to answer and particularly to those of you who actually gave responses to the question I asked. Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to be helpful we don’t stay on topic. If Hawaii were still on the table, I wouldn’t be asking for romantic Italian suggestions. I can’t imagine anyone on the website not knowing you need a passport to travel outside this country. So, again, thank you, but please limit posts about romantic places you’ve been in Italy. I certainly can’t help them with those!
My granddaughter is getting married in one month. Their hotel on Kuaui was wiped out by the storm and they are scrambling now. They are thinking about Italy. I’ve been many, many times but I’ve never looked at it from a romantic perspective. Anyone have any suggestions? They only have a week so they would like to stay in one place and maybe take a couple of dar trips.
