Honest Rates during special events

In Venice during the Regatta...The Hotel PENSIONE GUERRATO offers a double room with breakfast for 90 Euro ( cash) I did check around and some places DOUBLED their prices.
The Guerrato has had awesome reviews and I look forward to my visit to Venice
