homefood.it? (Dinner at a local's home.)

Has anyone participated in a home cooked meal using the website homefood.it? It sounds neat, the local cooks a home cooked meal of that region and a very small number of guests eat the meal in her house. There aren't many opportunities (only 34 in all of Italy in June), but one in Venice does match our itinerary.

Kaye, I'm hoping someone with personal experience will comment on this because I've been considering doing this as well. I saw it on Samantha Brown's show and I thought it looked interesting.
