Does anyone know where I can find the holiday hours for the 23,24,26 and 27 at the Vatican Museum, Colisseum, Pompeii and other big sites around Rome? We're hoping to do the long day trip to Pompeii one of those days, and the big sites in Rome the other days. I am assuming 25th everything is closed. I am also assuming anything around the Vatican will be crazy any of these days. Thanks!

I have checked the vatican website and they don't list any special hours for the days you mention. The colosseum hours are listed as 8:30-4:30 through the 31rst being closed on Christmas. For Pompeii the hours are listed as 9-4 being closed on Christmas.
I would suggest buying your tickets to Naples on your first day in Rome. This way you will have a better shot at getting the early train.
It will be very crowded in the whole city . Have a great time!
