Holiday Dec 8 Feast of Immaculate Conception

We are trying to get to Florence from the cruise port in Livorno.

1. What is the best way?

Just discovered the holiday Feast of Immaculate Conception is Dec 8, the day we plan to make this journey.
2. Does anyone know if Accademia or Uffizi will be closed for this holiday? Other musei also?

  1. What do you suggest?

Have you googled the museums for their closure dates? If they will be open, you had best book entry tickets on-line.
