That is definitely going to be a long shot! I think you'll find that most Bars or whatever will have lots of coverage of Calcio (Italian football) which seems to be about the only sport that the locals watch. The interest level for hockey will likely be non-existent with the locals, so your chance of finding some in Bars is very slim.

That's kind of irrelevant in this case as sports bars in Venice would cater to the needs of tourists.

It's more an issue of whether they can find a European satellite provider that is retransmitting the match. I would email this place and put in a request:

I understand that In one of the neighborhoods in Venice, the locals love hockey so much that every winter they manage to freeze up one of the smaller canals, so the kids will have a place to practice and develop their game. Sorry I can't remember the name of the neighborhood or canal. Well, I'm just lidding, but U don't care, do you?
