We have been looking at various Touring Company for our trip to Tuscany this June and wanted to see if anyone had ever used Florence Limo Tours (not Florence Limo Service). I cannot find any reviews on Trip Advisor and that worries me.
I am also looking at Hire in Italy, All Around Italy and Tuscan Sunshine Tours. We want to be sure we pick the right one because we are going to use them for several days. And I have seen some of the input about taking public transportation but we are not near good transportation (at our Villa) and one of our friends will tire easy do to an chronic illness.

Are you basically looking for a private driver, or do you wnat a company that will design the tour days for you? Tours by Roberto does the latter. He is a Rick Steves recommendation and having had an excellent tour with him (although one of his standard offerings) I woudl trust him completely.

We are not needing anyone to plan the whole day(s) for us as we know what we want to see in each town but will always be open to suggestions by whoever we hire. I did look at Roberto and felt it was not as broad as some of the other companies we are looking at. I suppose he could take care of all our needs but I am doing so much research, including studying Rick's fabulous books, that I just moved on to other tour companies. I was hoping to hear from people who had used any of these companies. Thanks for you I put.

One way is to apply for some help in planning a trip from specialized service expecially if they live in the area offering customized travel proposals. Trying to talk with them before and look for somebody with a "human" approach. They don't often try to sell tours but they are more oriented to satisfy travellers. They could be a valid support also in finding hiring service.

Hi. My family has used Franco and Stefano of Tuscan Sunshine Tours for 5 day trips over 3 trips to Florence. Each trip always seems to be better than the last one. They will make suggestions based on what you are looking to do, but we have also customized days to our liking and they will work out the itinerary with you in advance. We have also changed up the itinerary the day of which they were fine with since it did not conflict with our winery reservations. When you visit a town, they do not provide a walking tour but they will provide a wealth of knowledge prior to dropping you off and arrange a pickup location and time. They will reserve a time in advance with wineries so the winery is expecting your group for a tour and tasting. Let me know if you have any questions about the tours we have gone on with them.
