My spouse insists we hire a driver to transport us from Milan (MXP) to our hotel in Bellagio/Lk Como.
He does not want to ride in a shared shuttle service and wants to just wait until we arrive (ETA 1:30pm Sat 10/12).
It's just the 2 of us, each with 1 carry-on rolly and 1 carry on backpack.
Is there an information desk at the Milan airport where we can go and make an arrangement with a reliable service that takes credit cards? Not keen on cash transactions and we know to steer away from people approaching us to offer their services.
I've tried steering him toward a couple websites to arrange online so we can just meet driver and go but hubs is reluctant.
I think the travel time is about 2 hours?
He will be leaning toward doing the same when we go back to Milan to train station to go Milan to Florence after a few days in Bellagio.

Expect to pay metered rate-a couple hundred euro for sure.
Booking with a private driver in advance is your best option
Payment is by credit card and usually with 24 hr cancellation
They will monitor your flight and be there when you arrive
Leaving Bellagio your option is a regular taxi again and that rate may include the “ empty” return trip

Why?
Having a driver booked ahead of time is your best option- eliminates any haggling with a taxi driver over cost, wondering if you can even get a taxi to take you that far from MXP, wondering on departure from Bellagio if you can get a taxi on time or a taxi that will agree to take you all the way to Milano Centrale, etc.
For long distance transits- book ahead.

as you leave for Florence, if you take the (easy and scenic) scenic ferry the short distance to beautiful Varenna and walk up the short hill to the station from the dock, the TreNord train there will take you right into Milano Centrale station where it is a very easy change to a high speed train to Florence.
Same thing works on arrival - the Malpensa Express train takes you right into Milano Centrale station where the easy connection to Varenna and then the scenic ferry right to Bellagio.
You husband may have good reasons for his demands, or he may just be scared of the unknown. Good luck.
