I am going to stay in Tuscany, Abruzzo, and Le MARCHE FROM Jan 13 TO JAN 23 AND NEED DRIVER TO GET ME TO EACH REGION AND LOCAL DRIVERS to see areas I am interested in. We are 2 adults
Do you mind if I ask why you're not considering trains as an option for you to get you from one region to another? The rail system in Italy is very good.
I have the same questions as Michael. That's a somewhat large area and it would also help to know which towns / cities you'll be staying in.
What towns are you looking at those regions. I used a driver to get me from some of the small hill towns in the region where the trains didn't go. I can recommend a few for certain towns.
Abruzzo-Montefino and Notaresco
Le Marche-Sant ' Angelo in Pontana, San Ginesio, Castorano.,Treia
Tuscany-Bagnone
Thank you,
Zena
If you are even considering driving yourselves, then I would encourage you to do it. I found not much traffic on the regional roads and navigation just took a little planning with the map at the start of each day. I used Michelin's Central Italy #563, covering Tuscany, Umbria, San Marino, Marche, Lazio, and Abruzzo.
