wondering if any of the travelers out there has stayed here , I have 4 nights booked
The roof top terrace bar has great views of the city. Otherwise, rather far from the main sites of Venice on Giudecca, although it does have its own 39 passenger boat that operates a regular shuttle to/from San Marco on a 40 minute per departure schedule for hotel guests.

We stayed there in 2015. Very nice property, rooftop area is very cool. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the main floor, and it was very good. The concierge also recommended a really nice place on the island that you could tell it was locals dining there, food was excellent. Walking distance from the hotel. http://www.aicacciatori.it
The water 'shuttle' is there to take you to the main island, and it stops running around 11 if I remember correctly.
Only thing that was a bit odd was on the weekend the rooftop became basically a nightclub. There were door guards at the elevator to check ID's and such. We had to wait in line with all the people going up to get to our room. Which bugged us a bit, since we were paying guests.
We stayed there in 2012 and it was incredible!! We have Diamond status with Hilton, so we had access to the executive lounge, which is right on the canal. We loved sitting in there and relaxing with prosecco. The roof top has incredible views! We really loved the property, but the restaurants weren't anything special. There is a family run restaurant that is a five minute walk away and they have really incredible squid ink pasta and risotto and other local favorites.
We stayed there in 2011 and enjoyed our stay until the last night when a group of women were placed in the room next door. They woke up at 5 am and were chattering quite loudly and made it impossible to sleep. Don't know if the room was empty the rest of our stay or they were just louder than others.
It is a little more inconvenient location being on Guidecca island and many will try to convince you to stay in the main part of Venice. We stayed here on points which made it worthwhile for us and we did not find it as inconvenient as I initially thought it would be. The shuttle runs most of the day and there was never a really long wait. I have been back to Venice and stayed in other accommodations in the main part of Venice and did not have a wildly different experience.
The breakfast buffet was included for us and had every kind of food you could imagine. Really expensive though if you have to pay for it, so in that case I would plan on eating elsewhere.
If you're coming to Venice then by all means stay on Venice Island...not Guidecca which is where this hotel is located. I got this hotel super cheap on a Priceline bid for a 5* hotel. At first I was excited then when we arrived and figured out where it was we weren't so excited anymore. It's a beautiful hotel, but beauty isn't everything.
You'll need to catch the vaporetto or take the hotel's private water taxi (on their schedule) to/from the hotel over to Venice Island.
Remember, folks: Location, Location, Location
