Hiking poles

I would imagine your lodging would have them, at least our hotel did. You can actually buy reasonable ones as well if you wish.

Assuming your hotel does not provide such equipment there is no shortage of sports stores in Ortisei where you can rent (or buy) anything you need. I think poles are less than 10€ a day to rent. Here is one right in the town center next to the quaint Sant'Antonio Chapel.
