My husband and I are big hikers. We loved the My Way Alpine Tour. We’re thinking about the My Way Italy or France tours. Are there many opportunities to hike with those tours?

I just took a look at these two tour itineraries. They are fast-paced, but in Italy, hiking around Lake Como and in Cinque Terre are specifically mentioned, and there's an opportunity to get up into the mountains while in France. I think there are likely to be more places to hike than you'll have time for!

I have not been but my daughter went on her own hiking adventure a couple months ago to Bolzano, Italy. From there she got directions at her Rick Steves' recommended hotel and had a couple of days of fabulous hiking in Alpe di Suisi. She met lots of people along the way, stopped at rustic mountain huts and mingled with other hikers for hours.
