During our trip in mid October, we'll have a day on Capri. Has anyone hiked Monte Solaro? How long/difficult and is the time invested better spent. I ask because one of us could never do the chairlift in either direction but could probably hike it easily. Thanks

If you're after a hike, I love the one that goes from Capri Town to the Villa Jovis. Dramatic views up there, and interesting Roman ruins.
Haven't hike Solaro though, so cannot compare.

Check out Nicki Positano on YouTube. She has great vlogs, including several from Capri, including a hike down from Monte Solaro.
