I am trying to book a car rental in Orvieto but it seems the Hertz website is saying that location is closed. Does anyone know if this is a permanent closure?

Both times I dealt with that office, there was a note on the door and they returned within a short time.

I see, it will be closed on Monday, open on Sunday, even though on Google it says it is closed Sunday and open Monday. Please let me know if I am misunderstanding something, but it looks like I need to book the reservation for Sunday pickup. Thanks!

Sunday is the usual closed day for small-town car rentals and this is how I see it described on the Hertz site for the Orvieto office (but not for a specific date). If you're traveling around a holiday, that could another closed day.

Mo-Fr 0830-1300 & 1500-1900; Sa 0830-1300 only; Su closed

When I called Hertz today they explained that Monday April 25th is a holiday in Orvieto which is why the rental place is closed that day. So I am renting in Chiusa.
