We have received a confirmation for the Vatican Scavi Tour for Wednesday, 21 Apr @ 13:30. In addition to Scavi, We had planned to book a guided tour for the Vatican, but notice most start in the afternoon which will conflict with our Scavi reservation. Does anyone know of any Wednesday morning Vatican tours available? I checked Presto, Eden Walks, Rome Connection and Maximus. The Vatican website is only 60 days out so I can not check April. Any suggestions? Thank you so much.

I'm pretty sure that is the day of the papal audience, and if it's in the square, you might have a problem, because the Pope is visited by 15,000-20,000 people. I will defer to the other experts on that.

Ron we took the Vatican tour with the Vatican official tour guides
on a Wednedsday. There was Papal audience that day too, tour starts
at 1030am and finishes at the latest around 1pm, all depends on
how long you want to stay in the Sistine chapel. You should be fine
for your 130pm Scavi tour.
