Help with terms on trenitalia site???

www.trenitalia.com - I am looking up train schedules to get a "feel" for transport. In the RATE section, I am asked flex, standard, amica, familia, junior, senior, and many more in Italian. What do these mean? When buying tickets point to point, what rate for two over 50 adults?

Lea - use the standard rate. Although, I do not know if the Amica rate would apply. If click you on the "tariff" button while in a reservation it explains all the rate types. Seniors are 60 years old and above.

ALL special rates except standard and Amica are restricted to Italians and/or EU members and cannot be used by Americans. Amica fares are like buying restricted advance purchase airline fares. Changes are limited. So you can pick either standard or Amica depending on how sure you are about your reservation/ticket.
