We are taking a mom/daughter trip to the Amalfi coast in the end of June. The final day, we had planned to hire a driver to drive us from the Amalfi coast to explore Pompeii for the morning/early afternoon and then check into a hotel in Naples for the night (we catch a flight the next day).
We would like to do the RS Naples walk, so looking at best hotel accommodations nearby (and also convenient to get the airport the next day for a 10 am flight). Also looking for a great last night in Italy restaurant (close by the walk if possible). With it being two moms and two teenage daughters, I want to make sure we are finding a hotel that is in a safe neighborhood.
We don't have a specific budget--More concerned about a safe hotel and somewhere we can still explore the city for our last night in Italy. It doesn't have to be super close to the airport since we will hire a driver or taxi to get to the airport the following morning.
I've been reading lots of posts and blogs, so thought I would post in here in case any good recommendations, especially since we plan to do the RS Naples walk (also open to other neighborhoods to explore).
