My boyfriend and I, 40yo, are going to Sardinia for 10 nights during the first week of June. Flying in and out of Olbia. We will arrive into Olbia rather late and need to spend the first night there. I am having a hard time locking down several towns to visit. We want to eat, drink, walk around charming towns, and visit all of the beautiful beaches by dinghy boat. We will have a rental car. We would like to stay in places that have plenty of eateries and "bars" to sit in and drink wine in the evenings. We would really prefer they have old Sardinian charm...if that's a thing. I was thinking of Orosei for a few days because of its charm and nearness to Gulf of Orosei for boat rentals. Also, Alghero for a few days and do day trips to Bosa and Castelardo. We would like to also rent a boat around La Maddalena. My question here is, do we stay on La Maddalena for two nights? Do we need to rent a dinghy for two full days to see everything? We would appreciate any suggestions you have! This is our first trip to Europe, and we are very excited to visit Sardinia.
