Planning on spending one overnight in Lido di Jesolo as a "wind down" between Venice and CT. There are literally hundreds of hotels to choose from - can anyone make any recommendations - 4 stars? I have a one-night reservation in Hotel Ril - sound familiar?

Will you be going in the summer? If so, there will be thousands of other tourists. So much so, the main street is closed to auto traffic. According to a friend who lives in Jesolo, there are 2,000 hotels available. When my wife and I visited this past month, most were closed; and there were several hotels under construction or being renovated.

Yes - we're there in July. I've been to Jesolo in March and it was basically a ghost town - will be interesting to see the summer transformation. Hotel Ril sound familiar to you when you were there?
