We have been in Venice and need to get to the Fusina cruise terminal. The hotel front desk lady doesn’t seem to know anything so I decided to ask here. I keep getting told we can take the vaperetto there but our cruise tells us it’s still a long walk, especially with luggage. Does anyone know if you can just get a taxi at Piazzale Roma, or if you need to schedule one ahead of time, which would be a reliable company to call. I would appreciate any help as I’m not able to find any definitive information. Thanks!

You should be able to just get a taxi at P Roma

The taxi stand at Piazzale Roma is along the east side of the parking area (the left side as you stand with your back to the Grand Canal). If you have Google or Apple Maps satellite view, you can see the exact location; marked with a little blue taxi icon.
