We are looking for suggestions on a route and where to stop along the drive from Montepulciano to Florence. We thought to drive through the Chianti area (thinking along the SR222). Only have the day as we will leave our car off at the Florence airport that afternoon before heading into Florence for out next stay. Any suggestions/routes are greatly appreciated.
