Help with Honeymoon, and Hotels

Bryan, if you want to see the CT area, steal one of your Amalfi days. Stay overnight in the CT- don't try to do a one day out of Florence- too much travel time. Think about a 1 day from Florence to see Siena. Proud of you, brother, for attempting to plan out the honeymoon trip! Good luck.

Bryan, Congratulations and Best Wishes. I remember from your earlier posts that your bride wants to relax. Hence, the long stay on the Amalfi coast. But if I were you, I would steal one night from Amalfi and one night from Rome and replace them with the Cinque Terre. When I was a young bride I spent eleven weeks backpacking in Europe with my husband. Manarola (in the Cinque Terre) was the most romantic part of the entire trip. I'll never forget dinner at Trattoria dal Billy, eating al fresco, watching the night sweep in. Fortunately, we are going back to Manarola in May for our 23rd wedding anniversary. I'm prepared to accept that a lot has changed, but I'm sure there will be reminders of that special trip. Alternate Itinerary: Friday, June 1st, Venice ? Saturday - Venice ? Sunday - Venice ?
