My wife and I are staying 6 nights in Florence this May. We would like to spend a day or to with some of the best Tuscan wineries. I am seeking advice on traveling to through the Tuscan hill towns if I do not have a rental car.
Many wine tours are offered out of Florence.
Viator even offers a very good small group tour, put together by a company that offers primarily private tours (Tuscan Travellers).
I'm sure others here can also make recommendations.

Also on via Sant'Antonino, just past the corner with Via Dell'Ariento (basically next to the San Lorenzo Market) there is a wine tasting shop (enoteca) called Fratelli Zanobini. After you have a nice sandwich with Lampredotto (a Florentine specialty made with the interior of the cow's 4th stomach) at the truck at that corner, go there and drink till you drop. They have more Tuscan wines that you can possibly taste in a day.
